Zayn Malik proposed to girlfriend Perrie Edwards last weekend.
The Little Mix singer, 20, first sparked rumours they were engaged when she arrived at her boyfriend's movie premiere sporting a serious sparkler.
On the red carpet before the reports were confirmed by Perrie's mum, a reporter asked Zayn and Harry Styles who would be the best man at their weddings.
The topic was closer to home than the interviewer could have realised as Zayn explained his bandmates would all be "joint best men".

It didn't take long for Perrie's mother to confirm the rumours her daughter was set to marry 20-year-old Zayn.
Debbie Duff told Real Radio the following day: "It's wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous. It's true they got engaged on Sunday and it's absolutely lovely.
"Perrie loves him to pieces and it's perfect. They get on so well together and understand each other. It's just fabulous."

But Debbie revealed her daughter and the 1D heartthrob haven't yet set a wedding date.
She continued: "I said how’s long’s this gonna be? And she said i don’t want a long engagement but I don’t want a quick one either.
"I think they’ll eventually get together and set the date.
"He did the traditional asking me, and then he asked his mum and dad. It was fabulous, it was lovely. I was like a little marshmallow - it was so lovely."
A source for the Mirror described the proposal as "so romantic".
They continued: "Zayn popped the question over the weekend when they were alone together.
"It's one of the first weekends they've spent with each other, as they've both been on tours with their bands. He wanted to wait for the perfect moment.
"All her bandmates were at V Festival, and she couldn't wait to tell them. They're all really excited for her, as the rest of One Direction are for Zayn."
A spokesperson confirmed: "Zayn and Perrie are engaged, but any further detail regarding their relationship is private and we ask media to please respect this."

Nonetheless, Zayn spoke briefly about his engagement joy on Capital FM.
The presenter told him: "When Little Mix were on Max's show they all said you would be the first to pop the question, and we hear that you have - so congratulations."
Zayn responded: "Thank you very much."
She went on to ask how they were both feeling, to which he replied: "Yeah, yeah, we're really happy."
Reactions have been mostly positive on Twitter, with fans rooting for the couple to succeed and be happy.
Directioners were left reeling by the excitement of Tuesday night, with Harry tweeting more fans than ever, Liam Payne appearing with his new girlfriend Sophia Smith and of course Perrie and her ring.
It’s been a big week for One Direction and their fans - it seems congrats are in order.
