We could almost hear the sounds of millions of One Direction fans' hearts breaking last night.
The band's debut movie One Direction: This Is Us debuted at London's Leicester Square last night and of course the boys wanted their loved ones around to enjoy the moment.
Zayn's girlfriend Perrie Edwards walked the red carpet with her bandmates, attracting rather a lot of attention because of the three-diamond ring she was flashing on her left hand.
She later joined her man at the premiere after party, but the pair are yet to confirm rumours they're engaged after Zayn reportedly proposed to the Little Mix star at the weekend.
A source told The Mirror: "It was so romantic - Zayn popped the question when they were alone together.
"It's one of the first weekends they've spent with each other, as they've both been on tours with their bands. He wanted to wait for the perfect moment.
"All her bandmates were at V Festival, and she couldn't wait to tell them. They're all really excited for her, as the rest of One Direction are for Zayn."

The pair have been dating since 2011 after meeting while recording the X Factor charity single.
Zayn's proposal follows his recent visit to the tattoo parlour to have a cartoon-style image of the 20-year-old singer inked onto his arm.
He recently said of his new body art: "It’s not a direct portrait but it’s all the things I like about her.
"I didn’t tell her before I had it done and just surprised her with it when I came back from the States one day.
"She was shocked at first but loves it now. She thinks I’m crazy, like everyone else does. To be fair, I am a little bit crazy."
Zayn also added in his recent interview with The Sun that he and Perrie are "stronger than ever" - despite claims earlier this year that he'd cheated with part-time stripper Courtney Webb.
Unfortunately for Directioners, Zayn isn't the only loved-up member of the band.
Louis Tomlinson brought long-term love Eleanor Calder along to the premiere after party, while Liam Payne chose to debut his new girlfriend Sophia Smith.
Liam, 19, went to school with Sophia before he found fame on The X Factor in 2010.
A very tanned brunette Sophia, wearing a chic black dress, walked hand-in-hand with the 1D heartthrob as they made their way to the after party at the Sanderson Hotel.
Unsurprisingly, she seemed shy and was no doubt rather taken aback by One Direction mania.
Liam - who broke up with dancer Danielle Peazer back in May - confirmed his new relationship at the press conference for This Is Us earlier this week.
When asked by reporters if he had a girlfriend, Liam pointed to Sophia in the crowd and said: "Yes, yes I do. She's sitting right over there. It's not been long."
Liam reportedly flew Sophia out to LA to join him when 1D played four nights in the city earlier this month.
A source said: "Liam has really fallen for her. It’s getting very serious, very fast.
"She’s a sweet normal girl who likes Liam for who he is, not because he’s in the most famous boyband in the world."
And with rumours that Niall Horan is hooking up with Ellie Goulding, there might just be one single 1D guy up for grabs.
