TOWIE's Chloe Sims called “deformed” by nasty Twitter trolls
Twitter users love the opportunity to interact with their favourite celebrities, but for every positive message they get also receive plenty of daily abuse.
The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Sims has spoken about the abuse she has suffered at the hands of internet trolls who regularly message the 30-year-old single mother to tell her that she’s “deformed” and “ugly”.
The TOWIE favourite has always been up front about her cosmetic surgery, admitting to a breast enlargement, a butt lift and veneers in the quest to become confident with her looks.
But the ITV2 reality star has admitted that she's going to even further drastic measures to alter her look because of the slew of daily abuse she receives on Twitter.
Chloe told Reveal: “I've always been insecure about my face, but reading that you’re ugly just makes it worse.
“Every day someone says something nasty. They tell me I’m deformed, that I look like Pete Burns and Michael Jackson’s love child - and those are some of the nicer comments. Everyone hates everything about my face.
“Over time it does make you think: ‘Am I unattractive?’ It’s hard not to believe things like that when so many people say the same thing.”
The constant online criticism is wearing down her self-esteem and she confesses to having Botox injections in her jaw in an effort to soften her jawline, which many have said is too “square”.
She explained: “When I watch myself on the telly or see pictures, the first thing I notice is my square jaw.
“And people always talk about it. They tell me I look like that woman from the film Dodgeball - the one with a square face and really thick eyebrows.
“To be honest, I can see where they are coming from. My eyebrows were really big - but I’ve sorted them out now.”
Chloe has also been picked on her for her teeth and lips and although she asserts that her lips are 100% real and untouched, she got veneers on her teeth last year in a bid to give herself a Hollywood smile.
The TOWIE star said: “I’m still getting stick and people still hate my teeth.
“I get called a horse and sometimes drunken people shout: ‘Sort your teeth out!’”
