One Direction have finally made the return trip to the UK after finishing their worldwide sell-out tour.
Touching down at London’s Heathrow airport yesterday, the boys were greeted by a crowd of fans interested in nothing more than their music, and the kind hearted boys stopped to give autographs and have some snaps taken with their famously crazy – we mean dedicated – fan base.
It’s been a crazy time for One Direction since they kicked off the world tour way back in February, playing a monumental 134 performances in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia.
Although this has taken its toll on some of the members, it’s clear they all had a blast, with Niall taking to Twitter to thank their fans, saying:
“134 shows! And I wasn’t bored for one show because we have the best fans on the planet, and we do all this for u, coz u gave all of this t us [sic].”
Aw, he’s so grateful. And rich. Grateful and rich.
This is probably why, despite the 12 hour flight from Tokyo, the boys were more than happy to sign autographs and take photos at the airport.
All of them were decked out in comfy travelling gear, with Niall looking rather hipster in some huge thick-rimmed glasses.
It might be the end of their moohsive world tour, but that doesn't mean that the boys are taking a break.
Their new single Story of My Life debuted on the same day that the tour ended, and so the former X Factor contestants will have their hands full in promoting it, even though its music video has already reached a whopping 15,000,000 views, despite having only been released two days ago.
