Jennifer Lawrence received medical attention before attending the LA premiere of her new film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
The 22-year-old actress had reportedly been feeling under the weather for weeks and finally decided to get it checked out. An insider told New York Daily News:
“She had a brief doctor visit sometime before the premiere. She had cramps and stomach pain. Turns out it was gas.”
Facepalm. Oh, Jen! However, the Silver Linings Playbook star went onto American chat show, The Late Show with David Letterman last night to talk about what was wrong, especially as she missed the after show party the night before.
The star was her signature unabashed self when David gave her a duvet, checked her head for a temperature and asked if she was okay.
Be careful what you ask David, because she will tell you the truth. She said: “I thought I had an ulcer and it turned out it was a fulcer. I went to the emergency room, I had this really bad pain for three weeks and you can only s*** your pants so many times before you’re like, I need to go to the hospital.”
Wha-Jennifer! TMI.
The Oscar winning actress also had what sounds like an amazing high after undergoing an endoscopy, and told the chat show host about what she talked to the nurse about after she was coming round, saying: “I dreamed there was a nuclear bomb that went off and the first lucid conversation I remember was about the Kardashians."
“Then I put my hand on the anaesthesiologist’s chest and said, ‘Will you please just promise me something? Will you promise me you’ll watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, please?’”
The 23-year-old, clearly feeling much better, also become extremely aggravated with photographers at the New York premiere of Catching Fire, and ended up yelling back at all of them as they shouted questions.
You can’t blame the girl, we’ve lost count of the amount of premieres she’s been to these last couple of weeks!
