1. Egg each other on at Go Ape
Go Ape is a treetop adventure where, after being thoroughly briefed on safety, you are left to your own devices as you wobble over logs, swing from Tarzan ropes and zip line straight from the trees. It’s great fun and would be perfect for a big group of girls (as long as none of you are too scared of heights!)
Based in the lovely grounds of Trent Park, this adventure is just a couple of minutes away from Cockfosters on the end of the Piccadilly line, so though it might be a bit of a trek out of town, it’s pretty easy to find.

2. Grab a boat in Hyde Park
There’s nothing more chilled than grabbing a pedalo and boating on the Serpentine on a hot day. Just try not to fall into the water!
3. Grab some street food on Brick Lane
You’ve probably already heard of the Cereal Killer café and cat café of Brick Lane, but there is so much more! There is street food there for every taste, not to mention an abundance of incredible street art, performers busking and unusual bric-a-brac up for grabs at the market.
4. See a film outdoors
Do it the American way this year and head outside for a cinema experience. The Rooftop Film Club offers the chance snuggle with some blankets, take a picnic along and watch your favourite films under the stars.
From classics like Casablanca to recent hits like The Theory of Everything, there is a screening perfect for everyone.
5. Get planning with a clueQuest Escape Game
Get on board with the new craze that has sprouted up across Europe. As a team game, you and your mates are given a particular challenge that you have to solve using your brains and teamwork! Although it sounds a bit silly, it’s an hilarious way to spend a couple of hours and you’ll be surprised by how intense it gets!
Just try to refrain from screaming at your teammates for accidentally withholding information (not that we did that or anything…)
6. Have an adorable afternoon tea
London is basically the home of afternoon tea. You can drink your tea and spread your jam on a variety of different takes on the English tradition from sight seeing bus tours to Disney themed afternoons. And if you're really feeling like a baller, why not have it at The Ritz?
7. Get climbing at the O2
On a clear day climbing over the iconic building means views up to 15 miles away, but there are many different climbs you can go down, including the Sunset Expedition and The Twilight Expedition (if you’re really crazy and want to climb a building at night!)
8. Be a groundling at the Globe Theatre
If you and your gals pals are after a bit of culture, why not check out a performance at Shakepeare’s theatre? Tickets to stand and watch on the bottom floor like peasants in Elizabethan times are only a fiver, so we hope you have strong legs and a love of Shakespeare! If not, take a portable chair and a book.
9. Snuggle sloths at London Zoo
Okay so you can’t snuggle them but you can certainly watch them adoringly in the Rainforest Life exhibit. There are also penguins, gorillas, tigers and pygmy hippos. PYGMY HIPPOS!
Sound good? Get the girls together and have an adventure! Tweet us @sofeminineUK!
