Channel 4 commission female spin-off of The Inbetweeners
Drifters will star Lydia Rose Bewley, Lauren O'Rourke and Jessica Knappett - three of the actresses who appeared in The Inbetweeners Movie.
The show - written by Jessica - will tell the story of a group of friends working boring menial jobs in Leeds after graduating, while trying to figure out what to do with their lives.
A Channel 4 spokesman told The Sun: "Drifters features three twenty-something women having their first experience of the real world, making terrible decisions, but having a brilliant time doing it."
Lydia and Jessica played Jane and Lisa in The Inbetweeners Movie - two of the girls who befriended the lads in Malia - and Lauren starred as Nicole, who was Neil's girlfriend from the UK.
The girls will play Bunny, Meg and Laura in the show, while Bob Mortimer will be taking on the role of Meg's dad Frank.
Executive Producer Iain Morris, who co-wrote The Inbetweeners, said: "We're delighted to be involved with Jess' sitcom. She is hysterically funny.
"We knew from our time working with her whilst shooting The Inbetweeners Movie that she was hysterically funny, not least because she created the production's unofficial drinking den, Bar Knappett, in her hotel room."
It's not yet known whether any of the four original Inbetweeners - Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas - will make cameos in the programme.
Jess replied to a follower asking more info about the programme on Twitter: "Writing it and given myself the main part. It will be funny but I'm not trying to re-write The Inbetweeners!"
