1. Heidi Klum
We gotta start with the queen of Halloween: Miss Heidi Klum. From a colourful butterfly to a super realistic ape, Heidi's spooky get-ups are always so on point. And whilst we don't have the Halloween resources she does (I.e. a huge team of makeup artists on call and an infinite amount of money), we can at least dream. It's hard to pick just one look from Heidi, but this skinned cadaver costumer is so amazingly intricate.
2. Beyonce
Well of course Queen B is going to have a stellar Halloween costume. Even if she was dressed in a bin bag and said she was a crazy bag lady we would still be like "Yaaaaas! Slay it Bey!" This year she dressed up as X-Men's Storm for Ciara themed 30th birthday party, pulling off Simone Bianchi's version of the superhero. And of course, she nailed it.
3. Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady
Sure, normally we hate smug Halloween couples, but Gisele and Tom look SO GOOD in their Wizard of Oz get-up. Although Tom's headpiece does kind of look like one of those special mops that pick up dust...
4. Ellen DeGeneres
In 2013 everyone's favourite talk show host ditched her usual style and took a leaf out of Nicki Minaj's book. Ellen pretty much won Halloween that year. And it wasn't scary, just very, very weird....
5. Joey from Friends
One of our favourite Halloween costumes of all time is the one where you dress as someone you know. Mean? Kinda. Funny? Very. Like Joey, who dresses like Chandler for Halloween in Season 8 - an impression which he gets spot on if you ask us.
6. Evan Rachel Wood
You can't go wrong at halloween with Rocky Horror Picture Show. Evan's Magenta outfit is so on point and probably not even that hard to recreate. Getting that awesome hair down might be a bit harder though...
7. Emma Roberts
Emma Roberts wore THAT dress worn by her aunt Julie Roberts 22 years earlier in a little known film called Pretty Woman. The outfit was completed by a pair of black patent over-the-knee boots and a blonde wig. We wonder what Vivian Ward herself would make of this homage...
8. Katy Perry
Katy Perry, queen of funny halloween costumes, looked delicious last year when she dressed as a giant cheeto. She then went on stage in said cheeto outfit, and sung 'All By Myself'. It was both sad and hilarious.
9. Alexa Chung
Alexa Chung looks both sophisticated and...well....dead, in this zombie Mary Antoinette-style getup. Very Pride and Prejudice and Zombies if we do say so ourselves!
10. Nicole Ritchie
And lastly, our personal favourite: Nicole Ritchie and a friend as Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger in classic comedy Twins! We won't make assumptions about who's who....
