Shout out to all the babes on a budget, the most anticipated fashion collection of the year is finally here in lookbook form and it hasn't disappointed. We are of course talking about Balmain x H&M! YES, we can finally get our hands on Kendall Jenner's plunging jacket she wore to the Billboards. Mini fist pump.
Featuring the signature ornate embroidery and figure-hugging tailoring, Balmain's head designer Olivier Rousteing definitely knows a thing or two about making women want to spend monies.
The womenswear line will include reimaginings of the Balmain classics including logo t-shirts, oversized leather jackets and pearl-embellished dresses, all as flawless as the real runway deal. Swooning, swooning so hard, I mean can we just appreciate this dress...
Speaking to Vogue.com about the collaboration, Olivier said: "I wanted to capture the confidence, sexiness, and power of the house. When you wear the clothes, you’re going to feel powerful and strong."
And Mr Balmain hasn't held back on the accessories either with bedazzled clutches and massive earrings. It's out with subtle and in with statement; normcore is no more.
As for all those people that can't afford mainline Balmain (errrm, the majority of us!) sadly, not everything in the H&M collection will be affordable. Gigi's limited edition dress for example is set to cost an eye watering £399. The rest of the price points are yet to be revealed, but let's just say you're gonna need to camp out to get your hands on the purse-friendly pieces.
The collection is available to buy from November 5 with the fragrance to follow a month later. Hello Christmas present to self!
