The Beale family come to terms with the outcome of Bobby’s hearing but their minds turn elsewhere when they receive some good news about Jane. Ian’s good mood doesn’t last for long however when he makes a discovery.
Linda and Mick grow frustrated when the social worker cancels the appointment and tells them it’ll be a four week wait to find an alternative home for Sylvie. A supportive Linda tells Mick that Sylvie can stay with them but realising the impact it could have on her family, they quickly recognise that it will be impossible for them. Linda turns to a reluctant Tina for help and Tina soon finds herself in an impossible situation.
Meanwhile, with Tina busy, Martin goes with Sonia to her appointment and is stunned to learn she wants a mastectomy and oophorectomy. Sonia explains she’s doing this for Bex but back home, gets a shock when she finds Sylvie has moved in.
