If one thing is for sure, Brits love their drink and now, with London Cocktail Week (LCW) up and running we finally get to immerse ourselves in the best of London's cocktail culture. So stop what you're doing and step away from your desktops - it's time to head out to London’s best boozy going-ons. Here's what we're lovin'.

Summary
  1. · Tanqueray No. Ten Hub - Hixter, Devonshire Square
  2. · Paris in London with Grand Marnier - Cecil’s, London Bridge
  3. · Don Julio Mexican Street Festival - Translate Bar, Kingsland Road
  4. · Bulleit Bourbon 1950s Diner - London Coctail Club, Shaftesbury Avenue
  5. · Zacapa Above The Clouds - Ketel One London Cocktail Week Hub

Join the booze party in a week dedicated to drinking (no joke). But to make the most of the weekend make sure you get your wristband. Wristbands are on sale for £15 across several bars around London including, Ketel One Hub and Tanqueray Hub at Hixter Bar in Liverpool Street.

The best part? Your wristband will entitle you to £4 specialty cocktails ALL night across 200 venues. The wristbands also entitle you to self-guided tours and the opportunity to mingle in some of the capital’s hottest parties and pop-up events this week.

Ketel One Hub will be transforming their grounds into a health conscious farmer’s market brimming with herbs, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Which makes it the perfect locality to get familiar with an array of ingredients to create your very own bespoke (ahem, healthy dare I say) vodka cocktail. But if you’re feeling a little lost, don’t worry expert mixologist and Brand Amassador, Dave Beatty will be on hand to guide you through the mix.

Now here's where else you need to be...

Tanqueray No. Ten Hub - Hixter, Devonshire Square

If you’re an old soul, head East! Tanqueray Hub at Hixter City will give you a taste of the glamorous past of gin with live bands and flapper dancers. Pop by after work for their exclusive gin and food pairing dinners or join other festival-goers and Tanqueray’s Brand Ambassador, Tim Homewood in a grand masterclass uncovering the history of gin and enjoying all the gin jaunts. Entry and master-classes are free. What could be better?

Paris in London with Grand Marnier - Cecil’s, London Bridge

If Paris holds a special place in your heart, this is the place to be. Not only will this place be bustling with some of Paris’ most charming bartenders, but Grand Marnier’s Brand Ambassador, Julien LaFond will be on hand on selected nights throughout the week to tell you everything you need to know about the sweet orange liqueur. Don’t miss out on the lush infused Crêpes Suzettes they’re serving up either! The venue oozes style, sophistication and of course, the drinks are flowing. Entry is free.

Don Julio Mexican Street Festival - Translate Bar, Kingsland Road

Head out to the craziest fiesta of the year! With London’s hottest DJs and Don Julio inspired artworks you won’t want the party to end. Choose from a wide range of eclectic tequila’s and gorge down as much Mexican street food as you possibly can - just don’t be late! The first 50 people to buy a Don Julio cocktail (from 5pm) have the opportunity to create their own Mexican inspired T-shirts! If you’re a hard-hitting tequila shooter then this is the one for you.

Bulleit Bourbon 1950s Diner - London Coctail Club, Shaftesbury Avenue

Join Bulleit Bourbon 1950s Diner for a night of Midwest flavour and an all-American experience. The authentic American diner takes residency on the bustling streets of Shaftesbury Avenue celebrating food, culture and drinks! Play your favourite tunes on their traditional Bulleit juke box or sing along to some cheesy pop classics. If you fancy a shake or cocktail just ask one of their roller skating waitresses. Oh. And there’s corn dogs, deep fried pickles and Bulleit Rye batter and fries. Enough said. Entry is free.

Zacapa Above The Clouds - Ketel One London Cocktail Week Hub

Find yourself awestruck in this week’s most flavourful experience! Zacapa’s tour is sure to evoke all senses, guiding visitors through their tasting chamber and giving rum aficionados the chance to take a journey through to Zacapas’s origins in The House Above The Clouds, 2300m above sea level in the Guatemalan highlands. After you take the plunge, indulge in some of the world’s greatest aged rums and enjoy the mouth-watering food. Don’t. Miss. It! Entry by token, available at the Ketel One London Cocktail Week Hub.
