Downton Abbey has a few fresh faces joining the cast for its new series, including Lady Mary's rumoured new love interest, Tom Cullen.
The hunky Welsh actor is well aware just how big a deal it was for him to land the role, but he's trying not to dwell on the inevitable fame that's coming his way.
The 27-year-old is just thrilled that he was able to make his grandma happy.
He told The Metro: "My friends and family are so excited. My grandma was absolutely over the moon, it's her favourite show.
"That was really nice to be able to tell her I was in it."
Despite witnessing the huge success of the show both in the UK and across the pond, Tom is trying to stay grounded ahead of his Downton debut.
He continued: "To be honest, I'm not even thinking about America.
"If I was to start thinking about the enormity of Downton and the size of the project I wouldn't be able to be very truthful to the work.
"I would start to watch myself too much. I'm not even thinking about it. Who knows what will happen."
But it must be hard to avoid the thoughts of worldwide fame completely, what with the likes of former Downton star Dan Stevens relocating to the States for new movie roles.
Tom added: "I think every role that I go up for is daunting. That never changes but I'm really excited about the challenge of the show."
As a Welshman, one of Tom's tasks is to perfect a posh English twang for the role.
He said: "I'm working on the accent; I have a supervisor who is helping me."
He added: "You can't complain with Downton, I'm really grateful."
