Before you dismiss this as another useless social-media trend, hear me out. You're probably thinking there's no way the humble bar of soap could ever replace your prized eyebrow pen, but the beauty blogging world has proved otherwise. Even the brow babes at Anastasia Beverly Hills are endorsing the hack so they must be onto something.
Soap brows (search #soapbrows on Instagram) promises to give you the #eyebrowsonfleek you've always wanted with minimal investment, effort and skill on your part. The household item was elevated to useful new heights when self-taught makeup artist 18 year old Shelby Triglia demonstrated the life-changing technique on Anastasia's Instagram page and the #bblogger world proverbially blew up with anyone who's anyone trying it out for themselves.
The (basic) science behind it is that the waxy texture of the soap bar builds up a transparent substance and in turn, feathers your natural hairs to make your eyebrows appear fuller and fleeky. What are ya waiting for?
You will need:-
1x spoolie brush
1x bar of soap of your choice (clear is best)
1x steady-ish hand
Step 1
Brush the spoolie over the surface of the soap bar.
Step 2
Flick the brush across the length of your brows in an upward direction.
Step 3
Use a pencil or liner to define the outline of your brows.
Step 4
Conceal the area below for extra definition.
Before & after soap brows!
