There's a lot to think about when you're planning a wedding, and it's really easy for certain things to overshadow others. However we think the fact that all of your guests will be waiting to watch you dance, in front of them, as a newly-wed vision of love, should be pretty high on that priority list. That first dance song has got to be perfect.
Some couples have taken to organising a mass group dance for the first dance to take away the pressure of doing a 'slowie' in public. (YouTube, oh how we love you). Other couples tend to really go for it with their first dance - even going as far as classes, but don't worry, you don't technically need to be any good at dancing at all. An obligatory stand and sway will do as long as your song choice can carry the rest of the weight.
So with that in mind we spoke to London's coolest DJs, The Wedding Smashers, to get their top 10 first dance wedding songs for 2013. Whether you want to stick to something a little more traditional or fancy a more modern song choice, these DJs know what they're talking about...
1. Florence Welch - My Baby Just Cares For Me
2. Everywhere - Fleetwood Mac
3. Take Yo' Praise - Camille Yarbrough
4. Video Games - Lana Del Rey
5. At Last - Etta James
6. Heroes - David Bowie
7. You Can Never Tell - Chuck Berry
8. Earth Angel - The Penguins
9. You're My Best Friend - Queen
10. A Real Hero - College
