As much as we enjoy a little beauty splurge on our favourite products every now and again (translation - on a monthly basis, without fail), that habit is the most cited reason for us having to eat stale broken biscuits for lunch. Let us offer up our sincere thanks then to Aldi who have launched a babin' doppelgänger of one of our cult favourite beauty products, saving us precious pounds and sparing us the embarrassing of a limp biscuit luncheon in the process.
The supermarket giant has introduced a hot cloth cleanser into their Lacura line and it's a ruddy bargain if ever we saw one. Priced at £3.99 and a dead ringer for the award winning Liz Earle hot cloth cleanse & polish, this 200ml tube of joy is making us very happy right about now. Mainly because it means we can upgrade to, well you know, a Tesco meal deal or something snazzy.
It works in exactly the same way as the Liz Earle formula, you simply apply it to dry skin, massage it in and remove with warm water and the muslin cloth. Rumour has it it even has the dreamy herbal spa like scent that our Lizzy delivers with every use.
And, it's suitable for all skin types which means even us sensitive souls can join in on the bargain buzz too - just as soon as it's back in stock, that is! As standard procedure would have it, everyone's caught on the this good thing and it's sold out for now but we know where we'll be heading as soon as the next food shop comes around and it won't be down the confectionary aisle for once.
Happy cleansing chicas and chicos!
