Posting to Facebook, the proud Dad wrote: "Anyone that knows us, knows we generally let Caiden make his own choices, to an extent. Well, he has decided on a Halloween costume. He wants to be Elsa. He also wants me to be Anna. Game on. Keep your masculine bullshit and slutty kids costumes, Halloween is about children pretending to be their favorite characters. Just so happens, this week his is a princess."
Adorable! (Though we are a little confused about the 'slutty kids costumes' comment). The 28-year-old Dad Paul Henson told Buzzfeed about buying the costume, saying: "You know toddlers, they’re very fickle. I didn’t think I was doing anything out of the ordinary...I woke up the next morning and I was like, ‘holy crap it’s been shared a couple thousand times. I couldn’t log into my Facebook.”
The future Princess Anna cosplayer has said almost everyone has sent supportive messages about his decision to let his son be himself, just showing how far we've come since the days where everyone thought it was fine that Ross from Friends didn't want Ben to play with a barbie.
So what's his advice for good parenting? It's simple. "Support your children, love them, they look up to you as their heroes. Why not help them achieve their goals?”
