Niall Horan and Barbara Palvin have officially broken up. We’d feel bad about it, but was anyone really rooting for this pair? Really?
According to The Daily Mail, the two called it quits on their relationship, which began in late 2013, as the distance between them meant to romance was starting to fizzle out.
20-year-old Barbara has spent no time mourning over her lost One Direction love, and instead has posted a picture of herself snuggling up to a mystery man onto Instagram, along with the caption: “Early Valentine. #paris” and another picture of herself in pink lingerie with the caption: “Will you be my valentine?” We’re guessing she had her fair share of volunteers!
It sounds like the break up was amicable, as a source revealed: “There was no big fall out – things just fizzled out as they are working in different parts of the world. They are both really busy but are still in touch and friendly.”
The pair, who it was rumoured met each other in the USA, seemed to be enjoying each others company as they attending The Hunger Games: Catching Fire at the cinema, and attended the after party of David Beckham’s documentary Class Of ’92 together. However, it sounds like the long-distance – as Barbara lives in Paris and Niall lives in London – ultimately caused the relationship to come to an end.
So we suppose it’s time we begin speculating who Niall should go for next. We still think Katy Perry is a viable option!
We’re guessing this means that Niall will be alone for Valentine’s Day – anybody else fancy finding out where he lives and knocking on his door with a DVD of The Notebook and a smile? It could work.
