Apparently Liam Hemsworth wants to get back together with his ex-fiancé, Miley Cyrus.
According to Us Weekly, the Hunger Games: Catching Fire star is very much missing his ex-girlfriend, whom he was dating on-and-off for four years before they called it off for good.
A source said: “He pushed to get back in touch. He still has feelings. The attraction hasn’t gone away.”
This seems strange, as Liam was recently quoted as subtly dissing scantily clad celebrities, a reference that was surely meant for his ex, the queen of the naked trend. However, apparently the pair secretly met up last month, and now Liam wants to win her back.
The source said that they: “Talked like they did when they were together.”
Could it be that Liam is remembering all the good times now that Miley has gone on the record saying how happy she is that she’s single?
The We Can’t Stop singer recently stated in an interview: “I am genuinely happy, finally, with myself. I think it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are.
“I’ve never just been able to be alone, and I’m obsessed with being alone and hearing my thoughts. I’m trying to take this alone time – the five minutes I do have a day – to learn as much as I can.
”This is the best time of my life. I’m not going to look back on it and be like, ‘I wish I hadn’t been dwelling over a break up’, you know?"
Good for Miley, burn for Liam! Miley has also been linked to a few guys including her music producer Mike Will Made It and Rolling Stone photographer Theo Wenner, whilst Liam had a brief fling with Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez.
He has also stated that he is content with himself, and said during an interview: “I know I’m a good person and these days I feel like I’m more centred and grounded than I’ve ever been.”
We wonder what has brought on the change of heart? Perhaps he realised what he had when the other girls didn’t make the cut and he got bored by his own company? There can never be a dull moment dating Miley Cyrus!
