Kim Kardashian has tweeted an instagram snap of herself and Nicole Richie in their early teens, and they look pretty nerdy!
It shows them as pals long before the days of Nicole Richie’s reality show with Paris Hilton The Simple Life, and the show Keeping Up With the Kardashians that made Kim a household name.
In the snap they are both doing thumbs up – revealing some brilliant 90s chic jewelry – whilst smiling widely. We think this may be the first time we’ve seen them both with no make up! It’s definitely the first time we’ve caught sight of Nicole in braces!
The 33-year-old posted the snap with the caption “#ThrowbackThursday @nicolerichie and I being oh so cool at 13 years old.”
The two pals grew up in the same area of L.A., and it looks like the celebrity in-crowd starts early! But mainly this snap shows the insane difference that riches (ahem, and a little bit of plastic surgery) can make all the difference since the pair look completely different now!
However, Kim Kardashian seems to be shrugging away from her televised lifestyles now she has a daughter and a Kiance - see what we did there - and has no problem getting out of the limelight.
She told Look: “Especially now I have a daughter. I’d rather be in a happy place when I’m home.
“I go out with family and friends when I want to, and I love being open – that’s who I am, and I’ve always shared so much of myself – but this is about protecting other people and having a private life. I’ve definitely become more of a recluse since I was pregnant.”
It looks like Nicole Richie has similarly disappeared after motherhood as well, as she is married to Good Charlotte band member Joel madden and has two children, Harlow and Sparrow.
