Kate Middleton has made her first official appearance since giving birth to baby George last month.
The new mum joined Prince William as he fired the starting gun for a 135-mile marathon around the island of Anglesey, where they currently live.
It was a surprise appearance from 31-year-old Kate, who was not expected to step out on official royal duties until next month.
A source told MailOnline: "Initially the Duchess wasn't going to attend but she was also keen for the chance to thank the people of Anglesey herself for the warmth and hospitality they have shown her and the Duke."
It could be the last time we see the couple on the Welsh isle, as Wills recently announced their plans to leave.
They're thought to be moving into Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace now the renovations are coming to an end.
Wills will take up a new military posting as an RAF Search and Rescue helicopter pilot, after three years of serving in Anglesey and living in a rented farmhouse.
Kate and Wills left Prince George with Carole Middleton while they attended the event.
The Duchess told a fellow mum: "He's doing very well. He's with granny at the moment. He's sleeping well but I know these things change at a minute's notice."
Kate looks amazing considering she gave birth just five weeks ago.
She chose a green Ralph Lauren blazer, Zara top and Paige jeans for her outing, completing her look with a pair of black wedges.
Her hair fell in loose curls and she wore subtle diamond studs in her ears.
Though Kate told well-wishers George was sleeping well, Wills made the crowd laugh when a baby cried loudly as he walked past.
The 31-year-old said: "We're hearing a bit of that at the moment!"
Kate's next official engagement will be on 12th September, when she'll attend the inaugural Tusk Conservation Awards with her husband.
