According to The Daily Mail, 50 Shades of Grey has had to go ahead and reshoot some of its steamier scenes with its lead actors Jamie Dornan and Dakota Richards before the movie is released on Valentine’s Day next year (eye roll).
Apparently producers didn’t feel that the original footage was all that “passionate”. A source revealed: “Dakota isn’t coming off sexy enough. Ana needs to be naïve, not a dish rag.”
Woah.
However, a Universal representative denied the claims that the animal magnetism between the couple isn’t as smoking as it should be, saying: No one should question the heat or intensity of our actors…They want to do sequels, so this has to be perfect.”
Whether it’s to improve on what they already have or because the scenes are too ‘vanilla’, we have to say we truly do envy Dakota. We would GLADLY step in to fake-make-out with the absolute stunner that is Jamie Dornan!
