If you're lucky enough to own a cat or dog, you'll know the special bond you have with them is totally priceless - I mean I don't have any children, but I can imagine it's similar. And our obsession with our furry friends hasn't gone unnoticed by retailers either, with a wide range of products now available to bring us closer to our moggies.
But forget perfume that makes you smell like cat fur or a lipgloss that's like kissing your cat's nose because this latest pet fad has got it nailed - literally. We bring you matching pet manicures because pets deserve to be pampered too.
The trend officially became a thing when American pet owner Cristi Hanzel tweeted a picture of her and her cat Wednesday posing up a storm with their matching lilac glitter nails, and now pet lovers across the world are following suit.
Neon, glittering, irridescent - you name it the internet is getting it. It seems there's no limit to the designs you can get painted on their teeny talons, and don't worry they're toxic free too so won't cause any harm.
In an interview with Buzzfeed News, Cristi stressed the nail caps she used on her cat were bought from US store Target and were completely non-toxic, so please, PLEASE do not use regular nail polish on your pets which is entirely toxic and basically animal cruelty.
All that's left to ask is: how do you get them to sit still long enough to get a mani?
