When Rihanna started designing for River Island there was no stopping her creative flair. She was dishing out new drops whenever she had the chance.
But now, despite its soaring success, the singer's decided to say farewell to her fashion collaboration and in true Rihanna style, she's going out with a bang.
Her swansong offering features a party chic halterneck gown, bang-on-trend tartan pieces and lashings of festive gold, perfect for crimbo.
River Island CEO Bernard Lewis said: "We've had an amazing year working with Rihanna. She's been an inspiration for our creative teams to work with and we've been constantly impressed by the amount of time and energy she's invested in the project."
Since joining the high street retailer a year ago she's presented her edits at London Fashion Week, gained a fashion fan in Cara Delevingne and boosted sales with her River Island wardrobe selfies. That's what you get when you take on a global chart-topper.
From the OTT to the minimalist, Rihanna's covered all grounds with her latest collection so whether you want a cosy cossack hat, a printed suit or a glitter dress, this is a collection to suit the shy and the extroverted.
The key pieces allude to Rihanna's tomboyish look with bomber jackets, denim jumpsuits and oversized silhouettes dominating the collection.
As we know, Rihanna's a fan of the 100 % sexy dress code, so her last range doesn't disappoint in the skin-tight department either.
Rihanna said: “I wanted the autumn/winter collection to be a continuation of the spring/summer story, which is why I incorporated some of the similar ideas using different techniques fitted for those seasons.”
The 40 piece collection goes on sale on 7th November. We can't wait!
