Here at Sofeminine, we would like to say that we know a thing or two about fashion, ok so we are known to go for comfort over style at times, but we know how to pull a good outfit together. Plus we spend many a lunch roaming Oxford street buying clothes we can't afford, so that qualifies us for something right?
So since it's Fashion Week, what better time than now to show off our style credentials. We plan to hot foot around London this week, looking like the true fashionistas (sorry, we can't believe we actually used that word). And by fashionistas (apologies again) we are talking more high street less haute couture.
Have a look at us trying our best model poses. Cara who?
Lareese - Fashion & Beauty Editor
Known for her fitting room selfies, it's fair to say Lareese is a little obsessed with clothes and shopping, so London Fashion Week is literally Christmas, birthdays, Easter and New Years Eve all rolled up in one.
Lareese on Lareese:
"It probably wasn't my best idea to attempt nightwear as outerwear in September but we'll go with it. I live in these silk stripe trousers from H&M. They're unbelievably comfy and easy to wear, whether you want to team them with chunky knitwear or a lace nighty and slingback heels! Hey, stranger things have happened. I've gone for a very relaxed, boudoir chic outfit for LFW - somehow I'm hoping if I call it chic it will make wearing a nighty during the day totally acceptable."
What she's wearing:
Nighty, Trousers, Bracelet: H&M
Coat: Topshop
Shoes: Primark
Watch: Olivia Burton
Tolani - Fashion & Beauty / Food & Drink Writer
Currently trying to work out how to pay for all the items in her ASOS saved list. Never not trying to look like Rihanna.
Tolani on Tolani:
"This is a throw back outfit in so many ways. For one I am wearing a peplum skirt, hello 2009, and second I am wearing brown lipstick. Hello 90’s. To be honest this only reason I am wearing brown lipstick is because Rihanna wore brown lipstick and I am making it my personal aim to look like her. Judge me!
" I teamed the skirt with a tied up denim shirt, because heck why the hell not it’s fashion week. And after prior years of wearing heels, I decided to choose comfort this year and go for these loafers. And the leather jacket worn like my other fashion idol Victoria Beckham"
What she's wearing:
Denim Shirt: Primark
Skirt: River Island
Shoes: ASOS
Jacket: Topshop
Lipstick: Nizz Cosmetics Coco Nude
Emmy - Entertainment Writer
Lover of all things 70's and if you ever need her, she can be found in Miss Selfridges changing room, probably trying on flares.
Emmy on Emmy:
"I have loved the Seventies trend this year and fully tend to keep rocking my hippy trousers all through winter. Since the trousers are so loud, I kept the rest of my look simple with an oversized white shirt and black wedges with a brown heel to keep the vibe!"
What she's wearing:
Shirt: Topshop
Trousers: Miss Selfridge
Shoes: Topshop
Pascale - Digital Writer
Plain, but never basic. Pascale plays it safe when it comes to fashion but why look like a try-hard when you can wear all black and look chic as!
Pascale on Pascale:
"I'm wearing all black and Topshop everything because when it comes to fashion I like to play it safe. I'm not an adventurous dresser so black is my go-to colour. I love wearing boots in winter and these ones have a little flash of gold which looks pretty sophis, but the heel makes me so tall that it's hard to join in conversations with normal-sized women during LWF. The things I do for fashion..."
What she's wearing:
Dress: Topshop
Boots: Topshop
Blazer: Topshop
Umbrella: Paperchase
