Mary Katrantzou London Fashion Week - autumn/winter 2010 www.marykatrantzou.com Following the launch of her debut collection for Topshop, Mary Katrantzou took inspiration from 18th century portraits for her autumn/winter show. From boots with brass buttons to Napoleonic coats, the Regency era was in full swing.
Multi-coloured prints were a key focus - photographic images of jewels, medals and stained glass appeared on dresses and waistcoats, teamed with actual faux stone and metal necklaces.
From the asymmetric skirt and bodice combinations to the use of lace against print, this collection was visually stunning and sophisticated.
