Ashish Gupta's signature slouchy sequin jackets are in evidence for summer and are accompanied by gold blouses, bomber jackets and punky spiked jackets. After the playful pom pom theme which dominated his last collection, this season Ashish has focused on his crafting and created dresses which are like walking works of art paying homage to Paris (a dress with a fantastic Effiel Tower against a cloudy sky), there are images of Miami and New York as well as a map of Italy - it may be tempting to collect the whole series.
Denim - one of Ashish's favourite fabrics - has been dipped dyed and bleached and comes in the form frayed shorts, teamed with a slouchy top bearing Ashish's version of the Nike logo. Topped off with a smattering of visors and bum bags, this is one of Ashish's strongest collections to date dripping with London attitude and offering a sporty take on luxury.
