Nope? Prepare to kick yourself because I'm going to explain it in layman's terms. The sole purpose of a pair of sunglasses is to protect your precious peepers from the sun's rays - effectively 'banning' the potentially-damaging UV rays i.e. sunglasses are effectively a banner of rays, a ray-banner, if you will. And there we have it.
I can't help but think there's so many other things that have escaped our radars if we've been missing this trick this whole time.
