SPOILER ALERT!
It’s the day of Ali and Ruby’s wedding and Kerry is eager to start Ali’s make up. But things go awry when Ali takes a call from the registry office saying they’ve cancelled the wedding, as the registrar has died. Ruby arrives to Ali and Dan trying to find another registry office. Harriet takes the plunge by suggesting they still have a blessing from her but later tells Ali they should just go the full hog, and have a proper wedding. But Ashley worries without the Bishop’s permission Harriet will get into trouble. Meanwhile, Belle tells Zak and Lisa she doesn’t want to go to church because it reminds her of Gemma but they don’t listen. Later as Ruby and Ali walk down the aisle of the church, Belle suddenly dashes out, needing air followed by a concerned Zak. Soon there is more commotion when the police arrive at the church and everyone gathers as DI Bails arrests the vicar Harriet.
Robert panics when Aaron starts doing business with Chrissie.
Megan’s incredulous Jai can even consider attending the wedding, now she knows what he’s done. Jai tries to reason with her and suggests all three of them go on holiday as a family.
