SPOILER ALERT!
With everything that has been happening, Yvonne tells Charlie they need to leave immediately and run away to Ireland. Charlie receives a message from Nick, which confirms Yvonne’s fears and determination to leave. Charlie refuses to go because of his relationship with Dot, but Yvonne soon changes his mind. Yvonne promises to stay in the taxi when Charlie says goodbye to Dot, but she jumps out to make sure Charlie goes through with it. Yvonne tells Dot Charlie’s been transferred to Ireland and has to leave right away. An emotional Charlie says a tough goodbye to an upset Dot.
Denise finds it hard to be positive about the care homes she and Ian visit. Denise is overwhelmed when they visit Patrick and, wracked with guilt, Ian tells Patrick he can live with them. When Ian tells Denise of his change of heart, Denise is elated.
Lee is clearly loved up but when Whitney is late for their date he starts to panic.
Lauren gives Dean a hard time about his treatment of Lola, causing Dean to reconsider. Meanwhile, Lauren has to do a shift at Beales with Peter but she storms out when he continues to be in a mood with her. Later, Lauren gives Peter the opportunity to tell her his feelings but Peter chickens out and blames his behaviour on the stress of the recent press appeal. Peter apologises and asks Lauren to come back to work. Having heard from Peter that Dean has hired Lola, she goes to Blades to see Dean. He invites her out this evening but what will Lauren do?
