Shirley is on edge when Aunt Babe makes her realise that her hostility towards Ben could ruin her plan with Phil. Elsewhere, Sharon continues to give Ben a hard time and is dismissive when Roxy, excited to see Ben, arrives. Before she goes, Roxy reminds Sharon that Phil would choose Ben over her. After Linda advises Sharon to give Ben a chance, Sharon decides to build some bridges. Feeling sorry for Ben, Sharon asks him if they can start again and takes him to The Vic. There, she makes a speech welcoming him to their family, much to Phil’s joy and Shirley’s outrage. Elsewhere, thinking he's helping his mum, Denny packs Sharon’s make-up bag containing the gun into her overnight bag to stay at The Vic…
