Ian is worried when Lucy doesn’t come home and confides in Jane. Meanwhile, Lucy and Lee wake up after spending the night together. The pair is soon discovered and make a run for it. During a heart to heart, Ian tells Lucy that she is the child he is most proud of, but Peter overhears. He bolts out of the house and Lucy turns on Ian. She tries to look for her twin and runs into Max who offers to take her to a hotel. As she is about to head into the housewarming party at No 27, Lucy receives an email and heads off somewhere alone. We finally see Lucy’s lifeless body on Walford Common.
The pool competition starts at The Vic. Whitney arrives dressed to impress, but he’s not there. Lauren tells her Lee and Lucy spent the night together, and Whitney runs away.
Visiting Libby in Oxford, Denise can’t hide her true feelings and decides to finish things with Ian. As she arrives home, Ian is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Jane puts off her and Masood’s planned trip for the Beales.
