It’s Nancy’s twenty-first birthday and a fragile Linda is desperately trying to hold everything together and busies herself with organising a small family tea for the occasion. Mick promises a disappointed Nancy that tonight will be just family but tomorrow she can be Landlady of The Vic. Ignoring Linda’s wishes for the night to be family only, Nancy invites some of her friends over and Linda is left panicking whether Dean will turn up. Lee overhears Dexter talking about Linda’s page three modelling and sees red. With tensions rising Mick and Stan bring in the birthday cake with some flowers but it brings back terrible memories for Linda and she finally snaps screaming at them all to get out…
Ian tells Emma that he knows the truth about her and Max and no longer wants her help. Later, Keeble is waiting for Emma at the Police Station. Emma breaks down, explaining that her job means everything to her.
Mick tells Peter that he covered for Ian about Rainie as the timing would have looked bad. A confused Peter confronts Ian and soon realises that Ian and Rainie had been together on Good Friday - the night of Lucy’s death. Max persuades Peter to meet his father at the funeral home so they can view Lucy’s headstone but will he forgive Ian?
As Charlie helps Ronnie clear things out of her house in order to make room for the baby there is clearly chemistry between them.
