Ian and Peter put on a brave face for Jake’s plea hearing while Max and Abi receive a visit from the police looking to clarify their statements. Later, DC Summerhayes discloses to the Beales that someone has made a statement confirming Jake was seen with Lucy the night she died and a hopeful Peter heads to tell Lauren the latest development.
Elsewhere, Aleks and Roxy enjoy a date night whilst a broody Tosh and Tina babysit Amy. However, it soon becomes apparent that both women have different attitudes towards parenting. Worried she’s behaving like her stern mother, Tosh heads to The Vic, leaving Tina alone with Amy. Tina’s relaxed parenting is a hit with Amy, until Amy gets overexcited and throws up. Roxy and Aleks’ romantic evening is interrupted and they race over to the house where they find an unwell Amy and apologetic Tina and Tosh. Aleks quickly makes his excuses and leaves, followed by a suspicious Roxy who catches Ronnie thrusting a wad of cash back into Aleks’s hands…
