With the plea hearing approaching, Pam tries to break the news to Les about her conversation with Diane but struggles to find the right time. Meanwhile, Kathy tells a fuming Ben about their meeting with Diane. After picking-up on Ben’s upset mood, Billy pays a visit and Ben soon realises Les doesn’t know what Pam and Kathy did. Pam returns home to find Les waiting for her and is left mortified when he reminds her that she could have jeopardised the entire trial.
Ian and Jane discuss the possibility of Jane helping out at Beale’s but are both taken aback when Steven quickly shuts down the idea. As Steven continues to control the books, Jane arrives with Sharon and starts to help with the phones and reservations, much to Steven’s frustration. Things take a turn for Jane when Steven implies her chair is causing a nuisance and she asks Ian to take her home.
Elsewhere, Whitney helps Lee prepare for a job interview.
