After almost being caught kissing by Ian, Buster and Kathy arrange to go somewhere out of the Square but Buster is frustrated when Kathy fails to show. Meanwhile, Kathy makes her way to the station but is stunned when Gavin approaches her and tells her he has Dennis giving her no option but to get into the car. Elsewhere, Sharon is fuming to discover Dennis has been in contact withGavin and later gets a shock when a panicked Buster says he saw Gavin and Kathy driving off together...
As Gavin takes Kathy away, it doesn't talk her long to realise this is all part of Gavin's plans but just how far is Gavin prepared to go to get what he wants? Margaret soon arrives to reason with Gavin but as the severity of the situation hits Kathy, it's apparent that she is in great danger...
Sam drops Richard off with Jack who struggles to make a connection with his son. However, after learning Richard loves animals, he soon comes up with an idea. At The Vic, Peggy’s wake continues and Linda confronts Shirley about her feelings for Phil but she insists she’s with Buster now. Phil grows irritated by Sam's behaviour.
