David convinces a self-pitying Kylie to have dinner with the family. All seems almost normal until Leanne playfully teases Nick over a cracker joke, which he responds to be slapping her in a fury. Then Kylie and David get into a raging argument and Kylie leaves, determined to get hammered.
Hayley gives Roy a model of the train he drove on their wedding day, but he is upset when people keep showing up on what he thinks will be his last Christmas Day with Hayley.
Carla gives Peter a 1% increases in his share of Underworld, making them equal partners. He is delighted and kisses her, even though Rob and Tracy are annoyed.
Elsewhere, Sophie drags Sally to help at the soup kitchen, leaving Tim to prepare Christmas dinner.
